CHARLESTON, S.C. — October is breast cancer awareness month, and Atlantic Pest and Termite Management (Atlantic Pest) is committed to the fight against breast cancer. This is the first year Atlantic Pest will be donating to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer. They provide critical funding for cancer research worldwide to fuel advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis and survivorship.
Atlantic Pest will be collecting donations from now until Oct. 30 for BCRF. Atlantic Pest will match a percentage of the proceeds collected, we are asking that any donations be made out to BCRF and mailed to 1720 Signal Point Road Charleston, SC 29412 by October 30th.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our employees and community to support such a great cause. Our technicians are wearing pink shirts every Friday in October along with having pink ribbons on their vehicles to show our support. Atlantic Pest encourages its employees to participate in charitable causes,” said Ted Ford, president of Atlantic Pest and Termite Management.
